Petra-Nia Training Institute

From the Chancellor/Founder:

We welcome you to Petra-Nia Training Institute Online. Petra-Nia Training Institute began as New Antioch Training Institute (NATI) in 2002. The initial aim of the Institute was to train and equip leaders to share ministry assignments. We held our first graduation on June 12, 2005 with eight graduates. I was extremely happy and excited about where God would take the Institute next. I felt the unction of the Lord and the encouragement of the Pastor to move this ministry to the next level. As the year 2005 rushed to a close, God spoke to me about changing the name of the Institute. He told me “on this rock (petros/petra) I will build my church!” The rock spoke of Christ who taught with authority (conviction/faith/assured) and not like those who wanted to hold private convictions based on religious traditions instead of the divine direction of God. I answered with “at thy Word Lord, we will call the school “Petra” (rock). I found in the Swahili tongue the word for purpose, “Nia.” I presented to God “Petra-Nia” as a gift and sacrifice to His holy name.

God has blessed us to become incorporated, we have our 501(c) 3 and we are on the road to becoming accredited. We have revamped classes and added additional teachers to the staff. We offer a well-rounded Biblical study to enhance all levels of learners, for beginning Bible students to the advanced minister. Students will increase their Biblical knowledge while also enhancing their leadership skills.

Petra-Nia online will be available to the world as the Training Institute of choice. This web-based environment will allow ease of use and learning customized as you desire. I envision over the next five years that the program will evolve full scale and offer a comprehensive training program that will cross secular and non-secular lines. This cutting edge training will equip all learners with tools necessary to achieve their goals.
